I'm hoping for a vette win, but wouldn't be upset if the Flying Lizards Porsche won.

Tentative vote for FLM.
Could go any number of ways, really. |

Risi, especially with the changes to the car this year.
It would be nice to see the Falken boys get a good result too, they are a very fan friendly team. |

I just hope for a non ferrari win Not that I dislike the F430 that much.
I guess it will be one of the Corvette entries going for the win. But I voted for the BMW as they might be pushing for an important win. I wouldn't wipe out the idea of the FLM winning the GT2 class. |

The two car Corvette and BMW teams have an advantage over FLM and Risi. One of these six should win, barring a rather unforseen incident, act of God, or bizarre circumstance. Picking which car wins, is a crapshoot at this point. I'd have to give higher probability to a Corvette win, but will be cheering for the Lizards.

Remember though, the Corvettes have switched from the 6.2-litre to the 5.5-litre V8. I'm guessing that the restrictors will keep power fairly similar, but I would have to wonder about a drop in torque for those cars.
I voted for the Lizards, as they've been very competitive, and the most consistent GT2 team of the last handful of seasons. |

I voted for a darkhorse.....Falken to take the victory after some attrition with the top runners. Now I don't believe that enough to pick them for my FRC picks, but for this pole sure!

I voted for Flying Lizards (45 most likely) because that is who I am cheering for, so they get that little boost. But between the 3 and 4 Corvettes, the 62 Ferrari, the 45 Porsche, and the two BMW's I can't choose a winner. Not to mention the Falken Tire car has three great drivers, if the tires hold up they will be in contention. Then the battle between the 61 Ferrari and the 44 Lizard... let's not get into trying to illustrate the number of battles that will be going on out there on track. Good gravy it will be a heck of a race.

Want the Corvette to win but as already mentioned, it's a coin toss at the moment between quite a few cars, and that is just great.

Its going to be a close race but I think Risi will win. It will be a very hard fought battle, kinda like an entree to Le Mans. Should be a great fight though.

I'm thinking Corvette's experience and patience in endurance racing will probably win out. A little concerned about the new engine with less torque as pointed out above. Also, expect tough fight from Risi and the Lizards and also from the BMWs if they make it to the end without problems as they seem very fast.

pretty pointless pole seeing as corvette has 48 waivers and the BMW has about 18,000

I wasn't awere that the corvette is under any waivers, i know the engine is fully legal and i am preaty sure the chassis and aero are also, Now the bmw has as much to do with an e92 m3 as potatos have with tomatos. But since its fun to have them around i say let them play with the big boys and see i they can handle it!!!!

read the rules for this season and you would know that every BMW and Corvette GT2 that has hit the track, even rolled off the flatbed, is in full ACO spec for this season. No waivers. |
