Do you know if they'll mix the classes? Also would expect to see some Belgians in the S1600s, as it's a round for them too.

With 90+ entrants, that is one meeting I would definitely love to be at......."sadly" I will be on holiday with the wife!

That's really good to hear.

I'd predict over 110 entries, when finalised. Looking forward to it.

Don't forget the division 3 cars, they don't run with super cars, but are 4 wheel drive and are not that much slower, and 22 booked in, added to 17 super cars, that makes potentially 39 four wheel drive cars.

Pauwels and Janssen not yet booked in to supercars, Scheveneels had said he would be doing some Belgium rounds in his Scirocco but am I right in saying that has yet to happen? Maybe the Belgium entry is still to be announced. That aside a great French entry and definitely worth a trip.

Is there any chance of Tohill going out for this? Or any other Brits?

Also, how does this Rallycross French Open (http://erc24.com/archives/10763) affect things? More entries?

Gets better and better, Pauwels now added, Roman Castoral in touring cars (always spectacular at the first turn) also in, up to 95 entries listed. Definitely the way rallycross is meant to be.

Whilst i am really looking forward to it, let's not kid ourselves about the entries of the RCE (and the RX). So far, we have what everyone feared - a split and half the numbers in each. The French national championship must account for 75% of the entrants (so, in that respect, it's very clever of the RCE to tack onto local championships).

Anyway, 120 cars of decent quality over a weekend; can't be bad.

Good weekend in France. Great to finally see the Division 3 cars. Shame that some of the top French guys weren't there in Supercars.

I do really wish that there was just one European rallycross series, though. As good as the French guys were, and the numbers of quality entrants across categories (apart from TouringCars), I did feel that the Supercars were lacking a bit from the lack of other European guys.

Agree with Hickey, a really good weekend of proper rallycross but does need more European entrants to make it feel like a real European series.
As ever a great atmosphere from a large crowd, though smaller than past years for the ERC but that made for more comfortable for viewing.

Interesting to see there were three winners on the Supercars-podium :

Pauwels on the Belgian championship
Van Mechelen won the Challenge allthough he was second in the Challenge
Groset-Janin won the French round

Not really very clear to everyone.

Beside that : racing was very good indeed , atmosphere was great , we had a lot of weather-luck apart from saturday late afternoon. But like others write, not a real European feeling.

I wonder what will happen a Challenge round is not mixed with a national round?

So lucky with the weather. Apparently it rained all day at Le Mans, which is just 60km down the road.

I think that without the French entries, it would have been very thin on the ground.

The Challenge just needs to get more regulars, or IMG need to halve their prices...

So what i really see as confusing for those who were there , you go home and you read the page at this link :
http://www.rcchallenge.eu/challenge/...ound-2-results

Than it looks like there was no Pauwels or Grosset-Janin racing!?

Of course also confusing for who was NOT there :-)
