1. Alonso will sneak the title, but it'll take him to Brazil.
2. The team to beat will be Mclaren at the start of the season, RB mid season with Ferrari finishing strong. 3. Perez will win a race. 4. Webber will announce his retirement near the end of the season, triggering a big driver shake up. And I'm going to go right out on a limb, and bet really big... 5. Williams will have an appaualing season, Sir Frank will announce the sale of the F1 side of Williams. Last edited by b1ackcr0w; 10 Mar 2013 at 10:30. |

1. Vettel will be champion. No big fight with Alonso this time though, despite a decent Ferrari.
2. Grosjean will win at least one race 3. Perez will win at least one race 3. Hamilton will struggle and yes, 5th or lower in points. Perhaps a single race win in unusual circumstances. 4. Driver changes before the year is out? You bet. Bianchi replaces Sutil. Gutierrez out. 5. Webber and Massa sign up for another year with RB/Ferrari (but both will be replaced in 2015). 6. Toro Rosso struggle to get rid of one of their drivers to make way for Felix Da Costa, the 2013 WSR champ. |

With Perez as his team-mate, I think Jenson will have his best shot at a second driver's title, as long as the reliability issues are resolved. So, Button for WDC and Ferrari for the constructors championship. In 2014, Ferrari will be untouchable (in a good way)!

Here goes nothing:
1. Lewis Hamilton will win the championship. 2. Vettel and Webber will collide causing a non-finish for at least one of them (they may be classified as finishers as it may happen near the end, but one of them will not cross the finishing line). 3. Felipe Massa will beat Fernando Alonso at least twice in a race in which they are both classified as finishers. 4. Nico Rosberg will finish fourth or lower in the championship. 5. One of the many heads of the Mercedes team will leave before the end of the season (covering my basis against the success of Prediction Number 1). 6. Marussia will score at least a point. 7. Jules Bianchi will have been signed by another team by the end of the season. 8. Sauber will not score a podium. 9. There will be no more than 10 more safety car excursions. 10. Di Resta will score his first podium. The thread will be locked in one week from now. Last edited by Born Racer; 24 Nov 2013 at 19:59. |

Button will be the drivers championship leader by September.
Marussia will have scored their first championship point by September. Mercedes will win the constructors championship. Two new engine manufacturers will be announced this season. One team will fall foul of the bodywork regulations, which will cost them dearly. |

Webber will clash on track with Vettel twice.
Hamilton will sneak the WDC in the last race of the season (Glock will not be involved). Sauber will finish behind Torro Rosso. There will be a race that does not go full distance (or possibly even take place at all). One unsafe release will result in the pit lane being blocked. |

Whoops. Sorry for the late find.
Okay, here are mine :- 1. Vettel to win his 4th WDC(despite the recent controversy). Come on - think about - Newey designed car and he seems to like the handling of it better than Webber. I think it will go down to the second to last race. 2. Alonso will be runner-up again. 3. I think that Kimi will at Spa and Silverstone. I think he'll get at least 5 wins in all. 4. Button will have 2 victories - thanks to his prowess with going from a wet to dry track in a race. 5. The McLaren will come on strong in the middle of the season. I think that even getting a pole position or two. 6. Hamilton will have two collisions. One will be with Vettel and the other with Alonso. 7. I think that Webber will Monaco. 8. Mercedes won't win another race. They'll get 4th in the constructors. 9. Red Bull will win the constructors. 10. Ferrari will be runner-up in the constructors. |

Red Bull will win the Constructors championship.
Neither red bull driver will win the Drivers championship. One of the scheduled races will be unable to be run on its scheduled date. A driver will have a career ending accident. A new team will announce an entry for 2014. One race will feature 7 separate safety car periods. Bernie Ecclestone will say something provocative that he doesn't mean to get what he really wants. A major team sponsor will go bankrupt but the team will survive. A team principal will retire from his position. A pit stop of less than 2 seconds will take place. Martin Brundle will finally fall on his face by tripping over some equipment on a grid walk. A post race press conference will feature fisticuffs. A rained out qualifying session will feature footage of Kimi fishing from trackside. (Do I get extra points for predicting Canada?) A deeply respected past world champion will pass away peacefully. Somebody will finally admit that the turbo cars will sound like a farting hippopotamus. Adrian Newey will design a part that won't make his cars go faster. Monza will be awesome. A prat percher will be injured in a pit lane collision. Somebody will mischievously reprogram the pit land speed limiter to half the usual speed and wear a "let the good times roll" t-shirt. Adrian Sutil's patience will be sorely tested by a French journalist. A Force India will win a race when they need it most. A grid girl will faint and damage a car on the grid. The driver will be worried about his car. (Yes I've seen the video of the touring car driver, I just wanted to see it in F1) The safety car will have an epic fail, damaging an F1 car. Somebody in F1 will patent a technology that has an immediate life saving application in a completely unrelated field. |
