I saw GP3 for sale at a store for only $20 and am thinking of getting it, is it worth getting?

It is the best F1 sim available on any system. You must get it. The AI is unsuppassed as are the realistically variable weather effects. Plus with the many, many cool downloads available on the net it has not dated.

I prefer F1-2001, but if it's only $20, then get it...

$20 is a good buy for a great sim and one that can be upgraded with a large amount of carsets, tracks etc (I'm currently competing in a 1994 season). Of course it's not perfect (what game is?) and if you want better realism driving wise then I'd suggest Grand Prix Legends. However, this is based on the 1967 season and is quite hard to get used.
I would recommend GP3, despite it's critics, it's still a great sim. |
