"Internal Rethink"
Ross Brawn did an interview with 5Live just before the start of the GP, and as I'm the only person in the country who listen's to 5 live ( ), I thought I'd repeat it.
After the 'problems' at Austria, Ferrari have realised that they've offended many of thier Tifosi, and of course they wouldn't want to do that. As a result, the team have had an "Internal rethink". He was basically saying that they wouldn't do something in that style again (although of course there'll still be team orders) |

I'm noticing a lot more "grasping at straws" among the Ferrari team -- notice TGF's little "I told you so" after he qualified 3rd ... and Todt has admitted that perhaps they made a weeny mistake ... Amazing what Bernie's displeasure can do isn't it?

Apologies if this has popped up in another thread throughout the week, but while listening to Belgian TV this afternoon, I thought I heard the commentator say that Ferrari had carried out an internal survey asking whther or not people thought the team orders thing was the right thing to do or not.
I could've misunderstoond, but I thought he said most disagreed. |

Its not hard to see that most disagreed. I personally if given the choice would rather have Rubens end ahead of Michael in Austria and other circuits if Rubens deserve it...unless absolutely neccessary. But if the team seriously believe it is needed to aid the team and in the team's best interest, i wouldn't hesitate to try and accept their decision.

So, will this mean that Rubens will have a personal pitcrew so they can mess up for him?
I listen to 5 live, it's quite good and they have an F1 programme every 8.00pm on Fridays. I listen to it for the races quite often and it's handy for the ad breaks, or if you want some alternative commentary. |
