Will Minardi finish in the top ten this year?
At the moment they are 8th with 2 points, tied with Arrows and Toyota. But do you think Minardi can hang on to a top ten position in the constructor's championship this year?. I would hate it if their brilliant performance in Australia came to nought with 11th place and no money for 2003.

They are tied on points, but not position. Toyota and Arrows must gain another point to displace Minardi's 8th Position on the championship.
Looking at the competition, it does'nt look good for Minardi. Arrows and Toyota are both likely to score another point, and I think luck will finally go BAR's way as well. The only team unlikely to score again (other than Minardi) is Jaguar, and unfortunately they're already in front.

Arrows and Toyota will probably score one point this year, so it will all depend on if and when the BAR scores.
However, miracles can happen and who knows, perhaps Minardi could even score again. |

It's unlikely that Minardi will score again this year, in "normal" circumstances anyway.

I think that sadly Minardi will finish last again and miss out on the top 10 benefits, which may seal their fate for next year, as PS has made it clear he doesn't have the funds to prop up Minardi for much longer.
The 'new improved' BAR looks much better and should score them some points in the 2nd half of the year. Arrows and Toyota look closer to some more points than Minardi and Jag have their 'flukey' Aus GP points as a cushion with more looking unlikely. All in all its not lokking good, and with Yoong miles off the pace, they only have 1 car with even a half a chance of an odd point more. |
