Has Jaguar crossed the Rubicon?
Jaguar had an impressive weekend in Italy.
Where do you think the improvements have come (chassis/aero/engine) and where do you think they need to focus to show this is not a "One-Race Wonder?" Is perhaps "the Rat" really showing he may be the one to lead the team after all? Thoughts? |

I think the circuit suited their car. Which suggests that they should do well at Suzuka. I think they'll struggle at Indy because of the tight corners. If they do well there then maybe I'll revise my opinion. However it was good to see them on the podium.

They also went very well at Belgium. Irvine finished in 6th. They are working to get points. They aren't far from Sauber in Constructor's points. Jaguar have been working and improving the car the whole season. They also have new team personal to make the car better for next season. Hopefully they get it right.

Powerful engine - Monza is a power circuit. The two went hand in hand, but Jaguar have been improving every weekend since around Canada (although their fortunes have ebbed and flowed.)
Wonder if they can keep it up in the final two races? Hope they can. We need some new cars/faces up front, and Eddie always gives a good interview! |

Jaguar Reborn?
It's too early to say, but it's enough to make me stop and think about my picks for the order of finish in our perrenial game. Monza was a really solid result; the first one since Stewart sold the team to Jaguar. Lets see what happens at Indy and in Japan.
