brightline should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will Toyota sponsor the Atlantics next year?

With Toyota pulling out of CART will they continue to sponsor the Atlantic series? Anyone know?

I talked to some of the Atlantic guy's in Denver who indicated that the Toyota sponsorship is locked in solid through the 2004 season. They didn't speculate on their intent past then.

Knowing Toyota, they'll probably pull out. Ford will step in nicely though.

They'll have to buy their way out of the deal if they try to leave early... So it's win-win for CART.

With all this talk of alliances with the FIA, who wants to bet Atlantics will become North American F3 by '05?

Interesting question, brightline. Does Ford have an engine for the Atlantics? And isn't Toyota still the title sponsor of Long Beach for another year?

They'll stay. Toyota may be running in the IRL, and may not be happy with the way Cart was run, but that certainly doesn't mean they don't want the exposure...especially in a series like Atlantics that has some of the most entertaining races of anything in open-wheel.
