17 podium finishes?

If TGF finishes Japan race on podium he will not just finish all the races in one season, but will have 17 podium finishes in one season.
Has anobody done that yet?

No, no body has ever secured a podium finish in 17 races in a season.

Last year Jean Alesi was a classified finisher in all races bar the last one of the year. Olivier Panis was similarly close in 1994. Back in the 1950's when the seasons were shorter, someone may have managed it, but not in recent memory.

All of them. Considering that actually he managed not only to finish, but to finish on podium. We might also want to consider that actually he last time DNFed at Hockenheim last year, and he only missed the podium at Monza... And most of the podiums were accompanied by Deutschland uber alles.

Ok, so the strategy for Suzuka is to eliminate MS.

seriously, that is a huge achievement. Considering how many retirements the second best team has had this year, Ferrari is leagues ahead. RB had a rough start but still his record is pretty good. MS is able to drive like a bat out of hell for the first half of the race, build a 30 second lead then cruise home. I think their pace is a huge factor in their reliability.

Note TGF has already 17 consecutive podiums, counting the last two of last year...

And he's been in the points for 21 races now (since Hungary last year)

It's defititely the Ferarri. Just watch how Sauber is doing ever since he got the engines. He finished about 25 races(16*2). That's how they went up the standings

By the way, in 1952 Alberto Ascari won every race he entered, and I do believe the Indy 500 was the only event he bypassed.

Frankly speaking....when both Ralf and Montoya spun off the track in Indy...it was really a great feeling thinking for a moment that Montoya was gonna be out of the race

I want Montoya to either blow his engine or make a stupid mistake that would end up a DNF...so that either DC or Ralf would be third WDC

hehehehe....
well , in that case...i hope Micheal stalls on the grid and has to start from the back of the grid after the parade lap !, and then gets a stop and go for for breaking too many records this season , and also having a very large chin !!

Seriously speaking, F1 is indeed in great danger if the only hope to actually see another winner is Michael stalling on the parade lap...

Nah... but I like the idea of a stop&go penalty for speeding when breaking records...
