Forbes - The Comic Relief Continues
I'd like to give a big salute to Rodney Forbes. Every meeting we see him take Daddy's race car out there and throw it every where it aint meant to be providing laughs a plenty for viewers and fans alike.
We need to come up with a nick name for Rodney here on the forum - any suggestions ? Keep up the great work Rodney - We Love You !!!! |

Don't forget Paul Morris as well
Paul Morris is as big a dick head as Forbes. Rodneys great problem is is that he wants to be as good in motor racing as his brother John is in Sailing.

Whoa, steady on there, Morris is a good steerer but the money thing won't go away.
Forbes behaves like he is on the way to a demo derby and can't wait to get started so does a little practice on the way. To think that money was spent on that sideshow instead of Lowndes' car. Amazing. |

I think that "Dizzy" would be a good nickname for Rodney!

Thank god!
We thought we were the only ones. My GF and I had tears in our eyes watching Rod this weekend. He really is a joke, and a pathetic one at that! |

I can think of some, probably not 'family-oriented' though. He really does throw a spanner in the works when theres someone else within a few seconds of him, I think of max wilson in much the same way. 'oh oh-- you stay away wilson!' i think i said a few times.
I think Rodney Forbes goes off in sympathy of other people. E.g. somebody locks a brake, rodney goes sailing off with them in sympathy, so they don't get the blame.. Quite a caring guy I guess |

how bout thickshake , he certainly went around enough times to thicken up the milk this weekend
good on him though , he is out there giving it a go , and in actual fact in lower classes i.e Formula Ford and the Porsche he raced , he was fairly quick and won races. but he just cant seem to get the hang of V8's well done Rodders I hope your enjoying your time in V8's as much as we are watching it |

Went to the milkbar yesterday and asked for a Rodney shake. The bloke behind the counter said "Cummon mate I can't make em that thick"

At least he gets on the teev for his efforts... some of the teams got no coverage over the weekend, but the Milko's son did quite nicely getting the car coverage on 4 occassions for a lengthy time
And that skilful bit almost doing a 180 degree turn into Ritter... pure magic |

I noticed he has those flick-turns down-pat, they must be great fun. Maybe thats why he goes off down the service roads? Nice clean place to light up the bags and flick the car back around.

Exactly! There are dozens of worthy drivers out there that should have licences (franchises).
The fans pay to see a quality grid of quality cars and drivers. Id rathers see six more HRO or PRODRIVE cars out there rather than Forbes, Romano, Morris, Thexton and Tratt! |
