Brdc 500 Summer Races
Don't miss the BRDC 500 Summer Races at Silverstone this weekend.
Nine great races are scheduled to take place - including the recreation of the BRDC 500 - an event that first took place at Brooklands in 1929. The Peter Hanson Trophy for 1000cc F3 cars has attracted a large entry of 'screamers' - one not to be missed. The BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship (2 races), Group 4 Sportscars, the 1960s Sports & GT Challenge, Classic F3 and the Silverstone debut of the Northern Ireland FF1600 Championship complete an exciting day of action. Practice starts at 9am, with racing from 12.30pm. Also, Martin Short will demonstrate his Le Mans Dallara-Judd, and a massed hot air balloon fly-out will start and finish the day.
