Evoford should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kelly, R

What will the stewards come up with as a "reasonable" penalty. Their 2004 track record for such incidents has not been super - eg Skaife taking out Richards in Perth.

What will "The Twerp's" race plan be for Symmons Plains?

Will he do enough to become the KMart No 1 driver for Mum and Dad in 2005? - or has he already?

Whose budget and points score will he cause to end in disarray - can always plead he is a novice at the track.

At the end of the day, according to the rule book Rick shouldnt get any further penalty. I know absolutely everyone, including me to an extent, will believe its pathetic, the rule needs change etc. but as a driver you want stability withthe rules. If you spin someone around at Adelaide 500, Eastern Creek or Indy no matter what happens after the penatly can only be for the impact between to two cars. If all 3 situations are identical then a driver should be penalised exactly the same, not a drivethru + loss of 30 championship points at Adelaide, a drivethru only at EC and certaintly not a drivethru + championship points + big fine at Indy. What the drivers and the sport need is stability with the rules and this will be a true guide as whether the rule makers want stability or instability.

Evoford,
Was Jimmy Richards looking directly at you when he uttered those famous words at Bathurst, i.e the a...hole bit!

No: sorry, I didnt recognise on the podium at Bathurst over the past two years.

You do have the pedigree to support your mouth/pen

I find myself wondering what pedigree has to do with anyone posting an opinion on a public forum? And exactly how much pedigree do you wish us all to have before we post here?

you don't need a pedigree at all, but it is often wise to start a bit shy, and thats a pretty brash second post, considering the kelly stuff is last rounds news.

My computer has been down so I assume that nothing has happened to Crash Bandicoot/Reckless Kelly then, so the question still revolves around how many cars do you have to hit/spin/bounce off in a single race before you get more than a drive through penalty. Another question did Longhurst cop anything for his Hopoate on the other car(cant remember who) at the back of the track at Surfers after copping a serve from said car. Larry cant have been happy with the frontal damage. To say it was a racing incident would be way off as from a standing start you have a choice of going round or through don't you. He just took off and drove straight in to it then took off around the corner. Even crompo said it was a payback and a bit naughty and that no doubt the race police would be looking at that.

Longhurst at Surfers

To Fordo,

Believe the culprit was P Weel who had already practised the manoevure earlier in the race - was simply perfecting it - he got a drive through for at least 1 of the "racing incidents".

Longhurst punishment was the fact that he's lost his drive & no LP wouldn't have been very happy with that example of poor driving.

Give him a break! The time-stamps show them being sent at the same second, so it obviously couldn't be his fault.

Nice attempt to flame, but after Race 1, you're looking sillier than your post.

One race win doesn't win a Championship. He should have his License revoked for his horrendous and dangerous driving at Indy. We could have easily been remembering Brights life today.
