Helmet Painter

Hi, Does anyone know of a helmet painter that would take a design and render or design it on the computer and send it back to me for free.

Cheers

Alex Hodgkinson on here might be able to do it for you. He did this a few weeks ago:

Click HERE for a good place to start. It is a pdf file of a blank helmet template. Get out your colored pencils, paints, crayons, whatever and have a good time with it.

Maybe we should have a "design the best helmet". contest.

Along these same lines...
Does anyone have a line on helmet visors the are graphic on the outside yet you can still see out of them clearly (as though the graphic on the outside doesn't exist). I have seen people wearing them, even tried one on to be sure the vision was clear from inside, but failed to find out where to order them from. Second of the day.

No Billy not a hollogram. I've seen visors that appear to be painted just like the helmet, graphics and all yet, from the inside you have a clear view to the outside. I don't want it to be confusing but it's like a two way mirror, you can't see in but you can see out. The visors I'm speaking of aren't reflective like a two way mirror but have the appearance of being painted and you can have custom graphics done. I just don't know where to find them.

Rushy, I'm entering the contest ! I'll see you in the new thread.

I know what your talking about. I've seen it on a Simpson RX7, they had scales over the edges of the visor but the visibility was just as normal. Have noooo idea how its done though!

We had several of those made for our business several years ago. Up close they appear to be a mesh with extra large holes. From the inside you really don't register the space between the holes. It looks like a tinted visor from inside. i'll find the name of the company who did them if you make me.

Gemma Wainwright (gemma"AT"wainwright2844.freeserve.co.uk) at GYG has/had one (monster eyes on the visor). You could ask her.
