Good to see someone is bringing back the "yearbook" which has been missing for a long time since Chevron stopped publishing it.

Can someone post when it lands at Tech Books in Melbourne as I work around the corner.

The "First Time" - are you kidding - these yearbooks have been around for 0VER 50 YEARS - if you don't believe me - log on to eBay and do a search "Australian Competition Yearbook" - you will find lots of "Annuals" there.

But don't get me wrong - I'll buy one, just don't promote it as a "first time" annual.

This magazine looks awesome

Hey 'spook' what's up with your attitude?

It says "For the first time (in a long time)". This does not say it has never been done before, it says that no-one has done it for a long time and its long-awaited return is imminent.

Personally I think the magazine has a lot of potential I've been waiting ages for something like this to come out again. And no, I do not want all the racing facts of 1978 off eBay (I did your search for "Australian Competition Yearbook" and that was the ONLY book selling.....1978!!!!)... I want CURRENT facts and results in an up-to-date fashion.

I also checked out the website www.theannual.com.au and it looks REALLY good. Everyone should go check it out

Doesn't say when they will be out though.
I'm sure if you send an email to GR he will let you know.

Hello Ten-Tenthers,

Grant Rowley from THE ANNUAL. Thank you for everyones interest in my new magazine.

FYI; the magazine will be available in January. Mail orders will be sent out in early January, and it will be available in the book shops soon after that.

The website only lists two bookshops at the moment, however, it will be available in other states, plus more locations in Vic and NSW.

The website has had a great response over the past couple of days. Thanks everyone again.

If you have any further questions, please email me at anytime. I'm in Bathurst this weekend, so please be patient for a reply!

Nice to meet ya, can't wait for the magazine and at Bathurst, don't always stay away from the people who have beer in their veins, because they can be a bit entertaining with their stupidity

I remember reading books from the years 1993 and 1994. Can't remember (or haven't seen) any from years after that period. I'll be buying one for sure. Could be worth a lot of money in the future.

I know people don't like the place but there is a little place that use to have a V8 car race once, till the politicians killed it, called Canberra. Will I be able to get a copy or as usual will Canberra miss out???

Cheers

Everything i thought it would be

I got my mag a few days ago and its just everything i hoped it would be.
This is the best mag i have bought in a LONG time. And seeing its GR's first publishing, I'm already looking forward to seeing what he can put together next year.

Anyone looking to buy it goto www.theannual.com.au the website has details of how to order and has been updated with the list of all the bookshops and it seems to be growing every week!

Thanks GR!!
