Cleaning a camera body
Can someone please tell me how I should clean the body of my Canon 20D and what I need to do the job. The sensor does not need cleaning but the body is looking a little grubby.
Many Thanks |

I'm sure if you read the instruction manual it will have a recommended method of cleaning the outside of the body. I would guess it will say something like 'use a soft, damp cloth'. It may also advise to use a mild detergent, and may include the popular phrase 'test on an inconspicuous part first to ensure compatibility'.
I rarely clean the outside of mine, as they get so much use there is little time for dust or dirt to settle on them. The inside gets cleaned the night before every trip out, including sensor clean. Hope this helps Phil |
