Whither Viso?
At the beggining of this year, we heard Ernesto Viso rejected GP2 testing in favour to snatch a place on F1 as driver or tester, but actually he didn't land nowhere.
Anyone has an idea to clear the fog around the career of the Venezuelan driver??? |

He was supposed to be the test driver for Toro Rosso but that is clearly not the case.. dunno maybe he didn't get the funding needed.

I spoke to him too, but he told me he doesn't have anything happening at the moment. I got the feeling that he was hoping someone would drop out of GP2 so he could get a drive.

I had heard whispers that someone high up in the Venezuelan Motorsport federation had changed and as a result Maldonado was now the focus, rather than Ernesto...
may be scurillous gossip, may be true... either way, Ernesto has graduated from GP2 and is now in a holding pattern waiting for instructions to land somewhere - anywhere - before his fuel runs out... and - as we all know - the fuel doesn't always last long enough, no matter how talented the driver |

Sadly for Ernesto, turning down GP2 seems like a mistake, especially now that the majority (if not all) F1 teams are reluctant to run anybody other than their race drivers in pre-race practice sessions

There will be a shoot out at Ricard, but I'm not sure that you've got all the right drivers named.

López was hinted to test for BCN at Ricard, but what happened? Apparently the Asian drivers doesn't want to be humiliated by the Argentinian and vetoed the initiative.
Scalabroni is condemned to have zero points at this season??? |
