The Tour should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Questions for Mike Conway......

Fellow F3 fans,

I am lucky to have an interview set up with current British F3 championship leader Mike Conway this coming Tuesday prior to the next round at Brands Hatch.

We need your help and would like to ask Mike 2 or 3 questions that have been put to us by either fellow forum members or our listeners.

So are there any questions or facts you would like to know about Britain's rising star? Please post replies and your names will be plugged as of course will Ten Tenths if your question is put to Mike!

I have a good one:
Despite your success in motorsport, you never seem to smile, do you reckon you could manage one if you won this year's title?

when are you going to support your local motorclub and join Sevenoaks & District MC? An F3 car would be most welcome at North Weald (though it might struggle against the competition including 720bhp metro 6R4).

Do you think that a quality driver with his future set upon a career in top line single seater racing should be pushing so hard during mid week open testing that he takes a club driver in a much slower car off by clipping his front wheel as he overtook around the outside during the last session of the day? And no, I wasn't the club driver and it was not this year but I did see it happen.

20,000 postcards, one question...

Maybe he'll crack one when the pressure of having to win the title has lifted.

To be fair, he tried after Silverstone race 1 to smile. You just caught a glimpse of it - the right corner of his mouth creased ever so slightly upwards, but then shot back downwards as if agonising.

This did actually happen, I am not making this up!

I think I might have found a photo of a smiling Conway. Look here.

However, this good work is undone when you check out the guy's hobbies. Just one - training! Is that it? No wonder the smiles are so rare.

Maybe success born from a burning desire is more likely to engender pleasure? Just a thought
