minimangler should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
a colour and greyscale experiment;

Hi guys, hope you're all ok.

couple of images to ponder;

Just basically greyscaled everything but the car- I could probably sort it a bit more but its ok for now (I was being lazy).

This car was the inspiration for the logo i created, http://a253.ac-images.myspacecdn.com...6be77b032c.jpg

so any ideas or comments?

please tell me if they're sh*t, i get the feeling some of my friends just tell me what i want to here, which is nice, but not always useful!

Always difficult to pass judgement on peoples work. I hope by virtue of the fact that you have posted them on here then you are happy with them?
Because unless it is commission work you have to be happy with what you put in the public Dominion.
After that I could say they are cr*p (I don't think they are, by the way) but that is only an opinion from a guy who likes photography. In the great scheme of things that means next to nothing.

As for me, it is like chalk and cheese. The second photo is so good I can’t believe you even took the first. The first photo is not helped by the selective colour editing or the portrait orientation. Plus judging by the background, which is very distracting, the Ferrari was never going to be in focus. What were you trying to achieve? You may have guessed by now my opinion on the Ferrari but I think it's one to forget. The Lambo on the other hand is very good and might benefit from a tad more contrast. I also think you should not be lazy before posting.

Honest enough - any help?

I like the one of car 12 (but see below). Good definition and your choice of that car makes best use of the orange.

(I'm a bit fed up of so many photos taken/printed at an angle. I don't think that the overall effect is enhanced (in most cases ).)

Regards

Jim
