Dunlop Historic tyre supply problems?

On another forum a competitor has explained that he is experiencing difficulties getting the right tyres for his Imp.

Someone posted the following in reply,

"There are a lot of issues with reliable supplies of CR65 M and particularly L section historic since Dunlop switched production from Fort Dunlop to Portugal.."

I have no idea whether this right or not. Has anyone else experienced problems, are there alternative manufacturers of suitable tyres?
