Is that the Bravo that's showing the Italian soccer programmes hosted by James Richardson?

Im pretty sure it is yes, fantastic news for the series. FIA GT deserves full live tv coverage IMO and Eurosport wasnt always giving it that. Another good move by SRO.

Is it? How many people can receive this channel? I hope a summary (60 minutes) of the races will also on free TV. Only showing the races on an obscure channel isn't good for the promotion of FIA GT.

So FIA GT is looking at the UK and Middle-East instead of Europe to attract viewers?

If it is the same Bravo i get through cable then yes i'd say it's an emerging channel.

Basically shows a lot of 'laddish' (and ladette) programmes and is probably aimed at the teen-30's age bracket.

Has seriously upped its footy ante over last 12-18 months with the Gazetta Italia prog including at least 2 live games a week, as used to be on Ch 4 and then Eurosport and also shows some top South American internationals!

It doesn't show motorsport yet so the potential addition of GT's is brill and about right for the image Bravo's trying to foster.

The 'lustful' exotica such as Aston's, Ferrari's Mazza's n Porky's fit that bill superbly for the general viewer, but us race fans get coverage we can only have dreamt about before!

Lol, I'm passionate about FIAGT for sure. But buying a satellite receiver dish + membership etc. goes a bit too far imho. Some might do it, but for me that's a bit over the top.

If you wish to call it like that, I don't care. Getting satellite tv set up here would cost me around 500€ I think. And for that amount of money I also can (and will actually) go to both LeMans and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It's a matter of preferences, I can only spend my money once.

Big update according to a FIAGT update on DSC. Phoenix back on, DSC quotes SRO saying that they're "confident of one, possible to be two" entries. Also mentioned are the entries of Scuderia Ecosse and AF Corse in GT2. Further info about Oreca; they intend to do some selected rounds as well. Interesting rumours are about a team wanting to run the Pagani Zonda in selected races (car was purchased by Antonin Herbeck, who partnered Montermini in the Rock Media 575 at Brno last year), and a team with a Lister considering the same. Untill there's more clear about those I'm not putting them on the list though. Also important is the lack of news regarding Larbre; it's not mentioned by SRO at all. However, they're rumoured to have received a DBR9 for LMS. This could mean they move back to LMS again, leaving the prodrive campaign in FIAGT to the BMS squad.

There's going to be two more rounds yet to be confirmed. It should be a full 10 round series.
