Who's in British F3 2005?
Hi everyone.
Just wondering, who's going to be in British F3 next year? I haven't heard much about it...but I know Mike Conway is driving for Fortec. Emma |

All the current Carlin drivers are moving on.
Emma - when thinking "Silly season" in F3, don't start with the previous season's line up, start with a clean sheet of paper. |

As far as I know so far
Carlin- Christian Bakkerud Danilo Dirani *not yet confirmed but likely Bruno Senna *again not yet confirmed but likely Fortec - Mike Conway Menu - Stephen Jelley T-Sport - Ryan Lewis *not yet confirmed but likely SWR - Josh Fisher Its still very early days though, most drivers won't sign up until January, early February as many won't yet have their budgets together...I hope anyway! |

I would say you'll have to go the Brit GP then but they'll probably be restricting centre access again..you'll have to move on girl! They'll be plenty more young men for you to harass around the UK racing paddocks next year I'm sure!

James Walker should be back with either Hitech or Fortec. There's been a few rumours of Tony Vilander being in the new Robertson-Raikkonen team. Nothing will be decided until med January at the earliest (probably a few announcements at Autosport). They do call is silly season for a reason though!

Sadly, I fear the 2005 championship will have the weakest driver line-up for many, many years. If any of the half decent 2nd year guys return, like Dirani,Di Grassi or Asmer, then they should win with ease. They only have Conway to beat.

Well the same could be said for the Euroseries littleman as most of the so called big names there will be moving onwards and upwards in 2005.
You've named 4 good drivers there who have futures in this sport and who should go well if they return in 2005. That should be good enough for a decent scrap! We do have the advantage of having an extra formula with BMW to acquire drivers from in 2005 and I'm quietly confident we'll have a decent grid next season. Whether there's more cars out in the National Class than in the Championship though remains to be seen! |

If Di Grassi continues in 2005, I think he'll be in a good chance of winning the title. oh yeah and Dirani and Asmer too.
I've not seen Mike Conway drive before, so I can't really say anything about him right now. |
