Tyre war!
In the BTCC this year , we have only one tyre supplier in BF Goodrich[Sponsor of D.Ernhart]. But after 3 tyre failures at thruxton for Peugeot , I think we need an alternitive supplier to compete with Goddrich to make the series more interesting , possibly Dunlop or Goodyear [ or Michelin again].

If you mean Dale Earnhardt, he was sponsored by GM Goodwench not BF Goodridge, and Michelin and BF Goodridge are realy the same anyhow.
From a cost and performance point of view having a single supplier has a lot of benefits. At this point in time the last thing the BTCC needs is a tyre war. |

Agree about tyre war bit. Last thing we need.
If it is only Peugoet that were having problems, isn't it debatable where the blame actually lies? If there were numerous teams having the same problem then you could clearly say that it was the tyres. Just doesn't sound as clear cut to me. |

I think the Pug is maybe too big to compete with the smaller, nimbler Vauxhalls. Remember Pug said it'd be better having a bigger car at the start of the year?
