WRC Coffs Harbour Australia
This weekend is the Australian round of the World Rally Championship. The stages are held within 70 klms of Coffs Harbour, New South Wales which just happens to be where I live.
This afternoon I was driving back behind a Type R Golf that had a cage installed, German Plates and was left hand drive. Some-one out on a reconnaissance and driving back to the service park. There is a large round-a-bout, double lanes, at the southern entrance to the City that my Teutonic Friend entered in the left hand lane. I was behind him in the traffic. To get to the service park he needed to turn right, which he must have remebered half way round. He turned right - right in front of a tradesmans utility - no indicator, no nothing. Being less than a good citizen I laughed and laughed. It will be a good weekend. |

Probably a predictable result but it was interesting watching the tv coverage. Not sure what Meeke was thinking with his short-cut though.
