No 'invitation' for anything I own but rumour has it that the 3 Morgan SLRs could be racing there..... Doesn't clash with first big event for us, which is beginning of April and (in theory) in warmer climes....

That is probably correct as the Abarth Simca that lives in Haverhill is due on same grid?

Would be nice to see a 356 or two on the grid as well, unless engine capacity too small..... It’s the “Ronnie Hall Trophy” for 1600 to 3500cc sports and GT cars 1963-‘66 apparently. |

Excellent. Received my invite and had entry accepted yesterday. Testing booked for 02 March. Got something to look forward to over the coming Winter.

I know of a couple of 356s that fancy an entry!!
...and if the smallness of our engine capacity is an issue I am sure we can make it louder Mike! |

More to the point
A 356A Speedster GT Without doubt one of the most significant of the 356’s based in UK The S90’s and SC’s did have a racing history but not as significant as Speedsters , A’s or Pre A’s Seems Goodwood has forgotten that place closed for racing in 67 so why these late Cars? |

It’s so well marketed they could have dodgem cars and it would sell out so why not be historically factual with real cars that some parts were made in period and raced up to closure of circuit.
One hell of a lot of makes. |

Thought organisation at circuitt’s idea was to present,as it was in the day ,both MM and Revival and a celebration of all things Goodwood?
Can’t see them doing late F2 or mirroring what went on at Thruxton in early days before it came a less used circuit which mirrored the decline of BARC. |
