BTCC Rockingham 2016 Rounds 22, 23 & 24
Heard that Tony Gillam is on standby to drive one of his cars at Rockingham. Wonder if that would be in Caine's place if his agrivated back injury might keep him out would have to be 'force majoure' as that cars had a change of driver already. I really hope it's not a case of Jake Hill's funds running out, watch this space.............................................................................................

I feel if Collard and Shedden don't have a really good weekend they will be forced to be rear gunner for their team mates

I just want to see Dave and Tony do well in their cars, and the other thing is that it is great for the series and the drivers involved that the seats aren't being filled due to dosh

Looking forward to attending this one my second event this year after the opening round at my home circuit Brands Hatch.
Nice to have Dave Newsham back again I think the guy deserves a seat and hope he gets a full time ride next year. |

I'm only just in, I know qualifying was suspended because of the weather, but what was the story behind the BMWs? I know Collard is a poor qualifier, but Tordoff down there, ouch. |

Tomorrow's on-track action will now be starting at 9:30 instead of 10:10, as the 2nd Ginetta Junior race was postponed by rain. Just a heads up for anyone who might be going.

What happened at the start of race 2, I only got to watch the second half of the race. Shedden and Turkington down the order, Plato out. Looks like an interesting first lap? |

Far too soon to say that, look what happened in R3 and there are 6 more to come, would be good to see a new champion but still all to play for, great series. Does any other European championship have 6 potential winners with just two meetings to go?

Ironic considering all the moaning from Mr H about driving standards that one of his drivers lashes out like that.
Shedden will win this race. Quote me on that. |

Cracking drive from Aron Smith, but Jake Hill was my driver of that race. The way he chucks that old Avensis around is fantastic. Hope he gets so more up to date machinery for next year. |

Blinding drive from Aron Smith, bit of a nod for Ollie Jackson aswell, he quietly plugged away all weekend and got some good points.

I love it when Aron is doing well in the series and the other drivers had no answer to that drive in R3. But I don't know what to say about him, he used one for the future in the BTCC, but he's lost consistency. I mean, the other week at Knockhill he was not as good as today
I just want to see Tordoff with the same attitude as today, because if he does, the top spot of the title is his for the taking. The only one who has been in the same frame of mind to be a good one for the title is Jackson. I just think about his drive in the first race of the day and I don't know how much better than that he could have been in the car I think the drive in the third race by Matt was very well done. Colin's drive in race 3 was as good as Tordoff's in race 1, bit cheeky by Flash to suggest Scott deliberately bought out the SC. As for Plato, I can see his 10 year run of being in the title showdown coming to the end. MGs back on form, but shame to see Sutton resort to some questionable tactics. Ollie Jackson came in for criticism after Snetterton, but today he showed he can mix it with the best. Surprise of the day no doubt |
