An added note on the track specs should be made.
The part of the track that actually gets raced on (the part with the higher banking) is only 30 feet wide, and this is reduced to 27 feet in the turns due to the SAFER Barriers. So, there is a reason the place seems so narrow. |

Remember UK folks, Motors TV at half 11! It's either this or the Graham Norton Show!

Actually, Graham Norton was on before this, so I got to watch both! Yay!
My usual Friday night viewing doesn't usually have NASCAR in it, hence the unusual choice between the two It's either this or Jools Holland, and there aren't too many good acts on Jools tonight. |

Grr, the sounds all messed up on Motors.. Picture quality is poor too. I'd love to watch NASCAR in hi def, or high quality standard def..

Poor old Elliot Sadler got the rough end of a Logano push.

I think there was an assist from Hamlin also on that one.

Yeah Hamlin finished the job, but I don't think he had any way of avoiding it - Sadler had already been moved sideways by the push from Logano. All Logano's fault IMHO and I hope some karma comes his way later this season.
Oh and good job by Darlington first-timers Danica Patrick (12th) and Travis Pastrana (17th) |

Only in NASCAR can you wreck the leader, trigger a huge pile up, and keep the win. WTG NASCAR officiating crew.
