pit lane safety
How long is it going to be before we have the death of a mechanic in the pit lane during pit stops ?
We have all the modifications to the cars for drivers safety, what about the 20 plus people at the side/front of a vehicle while it is doing 80 kph. The cars need to come to a complete halt with the mechanics behind a line before they can start work on the car, very similar to WEC rules. |

Alonso had to have know he had brake problems before he went thru his garage. He and McLaren should have got penalties to discourage people attempting similar.
Seem the folks on the prat perches have heads to big to fit all know brain boxes, yet are allowed wander about pit lane while mechanics must wear all the safety gear. |
