How many races have you been to in 2004?

I was wondering with what sort of frequency people actually visit races... I try and go to one at least once a month, more if possible. This year so far I have been to :

750MC @ Snetterton
BTCC @ Brands Hatch
BTCC @ Oulton Park
F3/GT @ Snetterton
Le Mans 24 Hours
F3/GT @ Oulton Park
BTCC @ Brands Hatch
BTCC @ Snetterton
BRSCC @ Snetterton
BTCC @ Donington Park
F3/GT @ Brands Hatch

and still to come, the Formula Ford Festival, and the Britcar night race at Brands (at least!). Plus I went to the F1 testing last month. Quite a good year I think!

3rd July : BARC Classics (Snetterton)

4th & 5th September : BTCC (Snetterton)
18th September : BRSCC meeting (Brands)
25th & 26th September : BTCC (Donington)

However still to come are::
This weekend Rockingham (Saturday), Snetterton (Sunday),
Next weekend Silverstone (Saturday), Brands (Sunday)
30th & 31st October : Rallycross (Brands)

And whatever winter series meetings are organised at Brands, Snetterton & Rockingham that do not clash with weekend working.

Why this many meetings - well if you lived in Felixstowe, you’d want to get away from it as often as possible.

This year I've been on three historic events. There are these:

3-Set: II Gran Premio Histórico Argentino (Start)*
11-Set: II Gran Premio Histórico Argentino (Finish)*
2-Oct: Gran Premio Histórico "Ciudad de San Isidro"#

And I might come to:
31-Oct: 200 Kms. of Buenos Aires TC2000 (Including F. Renault and F. Super Renault races)

* This is the same race, but the event was like the old road races across the country, like the Mille Miglia, but with Standard Touring cars of '50s and '60s and old Turismo Carretera (Fords and Chevrolets of '30s and '40s) ones.
# This event counted with the presence of José Froilán González. Yes, I saw a legend!!!

I have to say from all of those the best food was on the Astra stages - in a different league - mega steaks, great lamb & veg. It was all good.
