I'm sure many people here LOVED ToCA 2, and you'll be pleased to know that on ToCA 3, that that GB tracks are:

Donington Park – Grand Prix and National circuits

Oulton Park – International, Island and Foster circuits

Silverstone – Grand Prix, International, National, and South circuits

Brands Hatch – Grand Prix and Short Indy circuits,

Bedford Autodrome – GT, North, East, South and West circuits

Snetterton

Castle Coombe

Just hope that the FF are on as many them as possible.

That's TOCA Race Driver 3...boy how we'd kill for a REAL TOCA3!!!

Anyway, best off in Virtual Racers this thread.

Don't mean any offence here, but not many, if any of the peep's who mainly go on the Club Single Seater section of the site go on the virtual racing section.
So I'll just drop it in here!!

None taken...but if they don't go to the Virtual Racers forum, they're probably not interested in games anyway?

And you don't have to buy a new exhaust at that shop in the middle of the paddock...

apparantly on toca 3 you have to save up money from winning races and add a quiet exhaust to your virtual garage before unlocking castle combe.

WOW!!

How detailed is that, even the nose cover is like real life. Simular colour scheme to my cars, just hope there is over 12 cars in each race, and they don't all go off at 'the chicane after Shell', or whatever its called now.

Jst seen the release date is the 24th Feb 06.

Sorry to go off topic, but can you get any car on any track on ToCA2?

Nope, you have to keep within the championships assigned you in career mode...

Then the "free race option" just gives you the option of recreating part, or all of these championships....not very "free" at all...

FFords are the funnest though.....cruising around the outside of three cars at Oulton Parks first corner and again at Shell corner....and this is on "hard" mode!
(I think it just baffles the CPU to see anyone trying something different! )

Unless you meant the original Toca 2 on the PS1....not Toca Race Driver 2....

We should get a few FF1600 drivers to play online. Quite good fun, and fair if you turn off the damage mode which prevents people using you as a brake etc.

Best time in our house for Oulton Fosters is in the mid 54's, just a second or so slower than the real thing! Brands Hatch Indy best is 43.95.

If anyone is interested in online racing, let me know.

It's not that they are 'racing unfairly,' but its a bit frustrating when the less able people take you out, or for instance drive the track the wrong way round to cause mayhem.

Have you ever played online?

For Toca 2, if you go to www.blackholemotorsport.com you can download a patch called something like formula ford world series. It allows you to race on 30 odd tracks.

Also if you go to www gamecopyworld.com you can get a patch that enables the game to run without having to put the cd in.

I play on TOCA 2 quite a bit. Stuart and Ian race on it.

There is a difference. Just can't get quite on their pace. And then when I get to within a couple of tenths I crash. At least the car's cheap to fix.

Just like the real tyhing I guess!

Those little gits can do it all day long and talk at the same time.

I don't think it matters as you can drive any car at any circuit now..But can you actually do the British Forumla Ford championship?

No Thruxton though, none of the TOCA race drivers have had Thruxton on, for whatever reason....

I hope it's true about the "any car on any track" option, something I assumed they'd all have had before now, but better late than never eh?

Now, who's for a FFord race around Road America?

If they're good enough racers they shouldn't need to worry about damage being turned off, and race fairly!
