ozywoodwards should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
My Thoughts on Spa

Firstly I would like 2 say that this was one of the best true, pure GP races in recent years. There was plenty of overtaking on a dry track, and virtually all the important position changes were made on the track, and not in the pits. From memory Hakkinen overtook two jordans, ralf and somone else. JV ovetook button into Pouhon, of all places, DC took fisi, TGF took his brother, etc. etc. etc. You could run the hungarian GP for 100 years and not get that much overtaking.

Of course, when you add into the mix the williams' failures on the grid, and Burti's huge accident you have a very interesting and eventful race.

BTW I thought that Hakkinen overtaking Ralf when he had just come out of the pits behind him, and hat to take Eau Rouge faster than ralf on cold tyres, was one of the best moves I have seen all season. Also, Montoya was far more aggressive and better at ploughing through the field (while he was still on), than ralf, who seems to have forgotten how to pass.

I have to admit that Burti's crash was the scariest thing I have seen in F1 for along time. The speed, and the angle of contact, and the fact that the car stopped where it hit the barrier, had me thinking the worse, (and Irvine too, judging by his immediate reaction).

PS if anyone is going to Spa in the future make sure that you stand on the inside of te first part of Blanchimont corner (where Burti crashed), teh noise and sense of speed is unbelievable.

Phew... this must be my longest post yet.
