Standard Production Racing returns for 2007
The BARC/Dunlop Sport Maxx Cup, announced on ten-tenths before Christmas, is looking promising for 2007.
This weekend at Thruxton two cars (VXR Astra and Hyundai Coupe) were used to evaluate the standard Dunlop road tyre that will be used in the cup. I think that this has the potential to appeal to a range of competitors, from professional teams at Cupra or GT level to club racers wanting to run a road legal car on a sensible budget.
