Lowndes should have been black flagged??

Forget the incident that caused the damage for a moment.

I'd like to ask why a crippled car, with the front wheels pointing in different directions, can be allowed to continue in a race on one of the quickest circuits in Australia.

We have seen others pulled in for flapping body work all year. Id have thought this car posed a greater threat to competitor safety then, for example, some flapping plastic.

If Lowndes had popped a tyre who knows who he could have cannoned into. Poor form stewards, he should have been in the pits and made to fix the problem.
