Jeff Gordon makes history as he claims pole position for the first CoT race.

Jeremy Mayfield looks like he will finally make his first start of the year. Still waiting on confirmation on who will miss the race, but as far as I can tell A.J. Allmendinger just missed getting into the show.

EDIT - Hold that, according to Jayski it looks like Allmendinger made it in by the skin of his teeth! Still waiting on official confirmation, however.
