A few years back one of the support races during a Motogp weekend was with BMW bikes. I believe Mamola also did some races. I remember when they came by us at Assen (with the old banked corners) the cylinder head protection was touching the ground. BMW still use the flat V design, so it will be very interesting to see them in WSBK. |
