New high performance fuel at Le Mans
Great news from the radio channel "Pays de la Loire". I'm trying to translate this the best I can :
An agreement has just been established today between the mayor of Le Mans and the two main diesels makes for the preparation of the 24 Hours race.
In order to promote the economy of energy, the mayor of Le Mans has asked to each consumer or family of the city to preserve all their frying oil used in their kitchen and bring it to the circuit for the monday of the week of the race.
All the oil collected in this way will be refined as a high performance fuel and will be distributed to Audi Motorsport and Peugeot Sport on wednesday, just before the beginning of the practice. All the pilots of the both teams are satisfied by such a measure because they won't be disturbed anymore by the smell of frying of the restaurants when they get to the esse of Tertre Rouge.
