I like half of BMW's lineup. Alzen, Adorf and Werner have all proven to be seriously quick at the Ring - though Uwe could use a little more calm sometimes. The touring-car boys are a little more of an issue in my opinion, particularly Farfus. The Mullers are both very solid and rapid sportscar hands.
Surely this will be the only year for the M3 GT2? The new Z4 GT3 will doubtless be ready for next year. It will be interesting to see who turns up with competitive Audis (what's the story for Black Falcon?) and whether Alpina's improving B6S and the Ford make a reappearance. We can be sure that Manthey and Mamerow will come with competitive Porsches, though the latter will lose the multiple race-winning form of Dirk Werner. |
