Gutted for Mitch this weekend. He showed so much promise in R1 to only have his goddam speed limiter fail in pitlane.
For R2 it looked like he stalled on the grid, which essentially put him out the back, so to get P14 was not a bad effort. I don't know about you guys but every time I watch Mitch race I just think he races very aggressively but also controlled, much like his mentor Mark Webber I guess. To be up where he is in his maiden year of GP2 is nothing short of incredible. I can't wait for the day he debut's in F1, and hopefully with a good team, because if his TRS, GP3 and GP2 exploits are anything to go by, he will be there or thereabouts pretty quick I reckon. Would pay good money to see Mitch go head to head with the big guns in F1 but in identical cars...methinks he would surprise a few Next time eh Mitch, which I believe is Nurburgring, 5th of July to the 8th. |
