That's the point I was trying to make, subtly

BMW's are no better than LC's, all very special now.

a GTA is a significant investment so you'd be daft to try and keep up

If you were an Alfa owner who was keen to win, why would you try and compete against the hot-rod LCs ? Ten years ago, you had a chance ... not now. So you don't enter and the grid is less full of variety.
