When will a Triple Eight customer car win a race or championship again?

If I'm not mistaken, the last time a Triple Eight customer car won a race was the 2016 Bathurst 1000 won by Davison/Webb while the last Triple Eight customer car to win a driver's championship was the 2010 ATCC won by Courtney.

In either case, these are both ever such a long time ago... So when will a Triple Eight customer car win a race or championship again?

With Adderton planning to put a 7th Triple Eight customer car on the grid, are these Triple Eight customer teams really on to a winning formula, or is it a hiding to nothing?

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, but if you join 'em you're not going to beat them?
