After watching the Paris-Dakar and after becoming interested in the World Rally Championship last year, I have seen how the rallies are run, in various stages.
I must say that I am particularly interested in the Paris-Dakar because it reminds me of the city-to-city races in the early days of automobile racing. So, my question is: Do any of you think that a non-stop city-to-city rally over several thousand kilometers could be done? Start to finish, no special stages, with two drivers per car, who alternate driving duties. Could it be done? |
