Yeah. We know from experience that long range forecasts are generally pretty speculative. But I suspect it's going to be a warm one again.

On Pistonheads there's a guy that test-erects his tent every year a few weeks before the big event. When his cat, nosy git, discovers the tent, he of course will enter it to have a look around. Depending on which side the cat enters the tent, front or rear, it will be hot and sunny, or p***ing with r**n.
Just like Paul the Octopus, said cat has never been wrong. This time around, the cat entered from the front, so it will be hot and sunny! (Usual caveats apply as cats are notoriously devious) |

Well, I'm definitely with the cat on this one (and pleased that moggie agrees with me!).

From Accuweather, it looks like our first few days in LM week could be a mixture of cloud and sunshine, with temps around the 20 mark. Tuesday through Friday looks dodgy and there could be some mixed weather in the race itself, particularly at the start on Saturday afternoon...... Could (and probably will) all change by then though.

According to Gav off of Gav's Weather Vids the weather will be 'unsettled'.

What I've found, though it might not be worth much right now:
https://www.wunderground.com/forecas...=localwx_10day Rain during the week, but appears dry on Saturday, though as I tried to imply in the first sentence it can change. |

I don't care if it rains non-stop on Wednesday and Thursday because they're not going to circulate behind safety cars in those sessions... plus it'd make interesting challenge for race prepping up. But please god, not a drop of rain for the race. I don't want repeat of the 2016 start embarrassment disaster with Charlie Whitning level of cowardness from the race control again

It does seem to be 'cheering up' for the race itself. These things change all too quickly. The blazing sunshine can only be just around the corner.......

If it is not warm and dry as Ayse promised, we could always warm ourselves round a fire, now just need a nice sturdy stake and some rope. Only joking Andrew, predicting the weather is a national sport in the uk, and anyone brave enough to try usually gets ridiculed when they get it wrong even if 90% of the time they get it right. Just ask a certain Micheal Fish.
