It seems like they are unfairly penalising BMW here, kneejerk springs to mind. Poor decision by TOCA in my view.

Gow states that the CoG changes are because of the Q50 returning, which is interesting as the CoG calculations should surely be the same if there are 1, 2 or 20 RWD models? BMR should be the most aggrieved if that is the case, because they have had to take a hit on CoG again due to another team switching model. |

As to the Corolla, Ingram explained to Louise after qualifying that during the two day tyre test recently, the team had unlocked the pathway to develop and set up the car better. He sounded really chuffed at how well the test had gone. And the slight boost increase that all the non BMW teams have been given must have helped. |

Since when have we had 3 compounds of tire that must be used on the same day? Why do we need this?

Scary puncture-assisted off for Chilton. I hope this isn't the precursor to another Thruxton 2016 debacle.

Comfortable win for Ingram.
Good racing behind, but this tyre rule is already getting tiresome... |

Personally I think the tyre rules in general have hurt the racing rather than improved it. Picking before each race just means in in race we will have the cars at the front on the softest tyre they can use and cars at the back on the hardest they have left. Also doesn't help that the soft tyre can do the race distance easily.
The soft tyre should be really quick but fall off and the harder tyre should be better over the race distance, rather than it just being a huge disadvantage. |

Every team and driver can make the decision to run the tyres is whatever order they like. Everyone could have chosen Soft for race 1, Medium for race 2 and Hard for race 3. Years ago you could have chosen the wrong tyre manufacturer.

Power steering problem for Ingram? Got nudged from behind, which is there the power steering pump is, then was significantly slower afterwards. I’m calling it pre interviews.
