Ralf has shown his fire and isn't intimidated. Look what he's doing w/ a second tier car. Michael for his part knew he was deadmeat after DC caught and passed but he insisted on being a pain. Do you really think he was being benevolent towards his 'team-mate'?

I for one would not have been directly astern of two cars bent on banging side pods and wheels if I were Rubens unless I already knew that Michael was going to push his brother wide enough for me to slip through. I believe this is what happened.

I think micheal was fighting for his posistion then very late in the passing move by his brother he knew that he had lost it so he tried to make it work for his teamate, Success.
