In previous years I've just checked via DSC and other sites for the race progress a couple of times during the day.
But this year, I'm living somewhere that has MotorsTV and wireless t'internet and I'm on-call for work, so I'm obliged to remain close to home or work in case of problems. So, I'll be earning money whilst sat on my fat arse watching the racing To confirm: MotorsTV coverage is 14h00-02h30 |

I reckon if ..... Gm decide to go LMP1 racing , the GT1 field will grow in the US pretty quickly . Only reason their satying away is the first rate class act from Pratt & Miller .
Would be great to see GM supporting the privateer in Gt1 while doing big boys LMP1 themselves . Somehow cant see that happening though . 2 cars is crap but , will be fun to see how many LMP's they can beat !!! |

If that is the case then the GT1 regulations are the problem.
It might be the time to go GT2 plus and GT3 plus |

I talked to Liz Halliday a few weeks ago and Modena will go full blown LMS and LM with her and Garcia, no ALMS plans (except for Sebring, obviously).

I think there is a multitude of factors for why GT1 is down.
However, it must be noted that the 2 classes dominated by a manufacturer (P1 and GT1) are the classes struggling to attract new cars. |

I´m not into ALMS or sports cars at all but in this edition a driver I follow (José MarÃ*a López) is competing in a Ferrari GT2.
I´d like someone to tell me what are the chances of the Ferrari cars and who look stronger for this race. |

The Ferrari cars are only pretty good ground, although the Corse Motorsports team he's running for is newish. They're one of a handful of teams who could win, especially with their good international line-up.

Petty good ground? Guess someone has not been to Sebring. Sebring is 1940s something Concreat used as a WWII bomber training air field. Most of the concrete is still used. i.e. very bumppy as heck. European racers who have never been to Sebring are in for a big big supprise, not a super smooth race course.
Teams that have Good chances to win at Sebring have raced at Sebring many many times before. Teams that have never been to Sebring, have a greater chance of NOT finishing then finishing. Sebring is very hard on equipment. |

Doesn't it have more to do with the construction of the car and not the team that runs it? What reason is there to think the F430s wont last?

Well Corse isn't totally new since they still are considered part of White Lightning. I don't think the track should be problems for Aguas and Mediani.

As I told you before I´m new into this and I have other question. Is there any rule of time for each driver to be on the car?
I don´t know if there´s a minimun amount of time that each driver has to driver of the 12hs, if there´s a restriction for driving for several hours. I´d like to know that to know how many time to expect for Pechito to drive. Thanks |

With three drivers it'd be safe to assume he'd drive for 4 hours total, give or take.
I believe the maximum a driver can drive at one time is 2 hours, so he could probably get 2 or 3 seperate drives in the car. |

Van Der Steur news from DSC, the car has been 'temporarily' taken off the entry list due to "a sizeable accident in testing" at Summit Point Raceway, Adam Pecorari at the wheel. The team's presence at Sebring depends very much upon whether or not the "substantial damage" can be repaired in time. But it doesn't sound too promising........

Yeah, substantial damage on a small team's car usually means bad things for a quick turn-around. Maybe Radical will help out some to get it done.
