If they are planning on expanding to two cars, I'd be surprised if they were trying to bring in Chilton.
To me, Valente would seem a more logical choice; a young French driver, has shown flashes of potential and the Citroen works squad could monitor his progress, to see if he is good enough to step up in the future. No disrespect to Chilton though, he's a solid driver and I don't think he would do a bad job either (if these rumours are true.) |

In fairness to Chilton, he is legitimately beating his team mate this year. For the first time since 2006.
I'd rather see Michelisz in a car like the Citroen though. |

He absolutely is, doing a solid job this season. He's also got the funding to drive the more expensive Citroen too. Just wonder with the rumour though where the extra car is coming from? Unless of course, someone goes to Volvo...

Now that's one great marketing move - WTCC challenge at Goodwood from 2016 onwards:

It's true indeed, and is simply down to funding. Both Coronel and d'Aste can't cough up the necessary € 50.000,-.
I wouldn't mind seeing Coronel in TCR to be honest... |

Oh, I thought D'Aste was the only one still in the old-spec car.

i think Volvo would at least enter 2 cars, maybe 3.
we could have around 10 (or even more) Works Cars on the grid for 2016: Citroen 3-4 Honda 2-3 (new model?) Lada 3-? Volvo 2-3 |
