not sure why they couldn't just get the people who do the excellent GT1 (if only the championship was any good!) feeds to set up this one, for their Blue Riband event, this sort of coverage is simply not up to scratch for a supposedly professional organisation.
First thing I've tried streaming on a new computer and ISP, was worried that my hardware was at fault, 'glad' to see you guys are also having the same issues. Also, I'm sure in the past Atherton has said alms.com would have coverage for those in the US and that it would be the same stream as the ESPN3 one, seems ridiculous if these were basically lies. Can't believe I've ended up watching a stream for an event with a dedicated internet broadcast on Justin TV's copy of a South American TV broadcast... Disappointing thus far, but hoping they're working on the issues for the rest of the race and season. |

If you refresh the stream it will catch up somewhat. Gone from 8 minutes behind to 4 minutes behind.

the ALMS.com feed was up to ten minutes behind for some people... if you do a manually refresh, you will get back to real time.
You might need to refresh a couple of times. |

Likewise, since my internet connection came back up I can't fault the stream - looks fine, hasn't skipped, and upscales fine onto a 32" LCD.

ALMS.com has picked up quality and had my first buffer now on ESPN3. Hope the early troubles aren't catching on this end, seem to be a little behind now though but maybe 1-2 min.

Refreshed the stream, running pretty much level with the timing & the feed is perfect! IMSA have answered our prayers!

Yep the return of the matrix. Just when it was all going so well. But hey this is the future of television.

Guess I can put hand up and say this is all my fault for being positive about the stream. In short, no, it's not working in Kent.

I have been running the ESPN3 stream all race on a 360 with maybe 2-3 stutters and one buffer for about 10-15 seconds. Definitely no loud or screeching sounds, a couple instances of some PA like reverb but I have noticed that on RLM's site and a couple times at Road Atlanta on my radio.

Green screen anyone? I have sound though and not angry aliens.
Let's say they seem to have some sorting out to do with their setup... Is the FIA GT1 coverage better because of lower viewership or superior equipment? |
