Last? Many people really think that?
The package could be a good one, we’ll see, and the impact of the drivers will more likely just be a failure to maximise on it. |

Driver ability ( when comparing people who have made it to F1 seats ) is about the difference between 99% and 100%. Designers, Engineers, Aero specialists and team management make up the 99%. The egos in helmets seem to excite a strangely out of proportion reaction. |

They'll reveal the proper livery in testing. Have to say the Halo doesn't look any better, shame really

Agree about the halo though - I thought if anyone would be likely to come up with something decent it would be Red Bull / Adrian Newey. I guess the rules around the halo are quite tight and don't allow much in the way of ingenuity regarding incorporating it into the car design rather than just the 'bolt on' look. (Unless this is just a livery show car and nothing like the super duper machine that'll be testing next week with a really good halo solution - wishful thinking?) |

I quite like the livery - it's different. I guess that they go back to their usual boring livery in time for the season.

Another here who likes the livery! Would be surprised (pleasantly) however, if it appears on the actual race cars......

camoflage. harder to see details in dark colours, innit, especially with fractured details like the logos.
i do like that navy and black though... not a great track presence but its kinda cool static. |

The AM logo on the rear wing looks particularly sharp imo. Hope it makes it to the race trim version.
What's going on with the nose though? Don't recall that duct being so big. Maybe the paint job adds to it. |

The halos in real photography look as awful as anticipated. For a brief moment I was fooled by the fancy lighting and backgrounds used in some studio photography, thinking the concept could be something I could get used. Reality highlights the awfulness.
The best part of the Red Bull livery is the AM logo on the rear wing. |

I love the Red Bull it also sounded rather good ... I like the Halo because it’s going to be on all the cars and we have no choice ...

And a bright orange motorhome too? Bright orange team wear? Looks like there's going to be a lot of bright orange in pitlane this year.
A teaser... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcfV...ature=youtu.be |

Sauber announce a couple of "Premium" sponsors.
https://www.sauberf1team.com/news/ri...uber-f1-team-2 https://www.sauberf1team.com/news/ca...uber-f1-team-2 Well done Sauber. Or is it because of the Alfa Romeo link? |

With all the new sponsors (sorry, "Premium Partners") they have announced today maybe they might trouble the midfield this year and score points.... money for development plus a 2018 spec Ferrari engine bodes like a more promising basis to kick off with.

I would say that considering the miniscule size of the logos for their "Premium Partners" that their financial contributions may also be miniscule!
