Great news on the live coverage this time around, a shame many of us will be at work for race 1. Hope Martin Haven & Gareth Rees are commentating - NOT Mr Kirby.

for those that are at work for race 1 there is a hour showing of it before race 2 on Saturday or if you have any way of taping it do so.

Oh don't worry, I'll be Sky plussing the live coverage Unfortunately Eurosport's butchering of coverage for their repeats makes it impossible to follow a race properly. Thanks for the scheduling info.

What about Ericsson and Bianchi? Will Jules drive for this race onwards for ART? Will Ericsson move to SuperNova or not?

just been told that Fillppi has been given a 5 grid pen for causing the crash with Turvey therefore there is a change in the grid.

not really a good news for Meritus but not really a surprise , they are well known in Asia for running cars out of the rules, they were already disqualified in 2007 for using wrong set of tyres in Sentul... |

1-2 for iSport, Turvey won followed by Valsecchi in race one. Jules Bianchi did an amazing 3rd in his debut. Both DPR drivers entered in the points with Ricci 5th and Herck 7th. Chilton, 8th, will be on pole tomorrow.

DPR has no luck... in the eve of last year Herck finished on points but was penalised...

It was a bit stupid, but DPR rocked today! I think Ricci backed off at the end and Herck went too late for tyre change.
Great race, at one point 6 cars were in the lead pack, both Turvey and Valsecchi banged wheels at one point, but still finished 1-2. For once, there were no problems with the live-timing, it's so much better now and Arabadzhiev had several 51.8-9 laps with his late tyre change, got the fastest lap, but won't get the point. I think Valsecchi had 51.8 and will take the extra point. |

What happened to Filippi? Up to 4th on the final lap from the back of the grid but retired.
