Marc Marquez' Moto 2 ride...
Surely Ant West has done enough in the last 2 races to take over the world champs seat in 2013

Best ride I have ever seen for West including his wins and good rides in the wet.
But the question remains, why only in the wet and in Australia? Staggering mickey taking by Marquez in the end, bloke was stalling the whole race, sitting up, rolling off. C;ever ride though, but as if he was that much slower than Pol |

On the subject of Moto2, Dorna are apparently considering a bike + rider minimum weight. Sorry couldn't find an english source.

You see if you know a bit about this, it comes as no surprise that now Marquez has wont he title it has been allowed.
They relaxed the rokokie rule as Honda clearly made a determined demand that no way was Marquez going to be on e private bike sponsired by Repsol!! and this just adds to the pathetic pro Spain rubbish that Dorna trot out regularly. I just hope that the rule is brought in as certain riders Pol included have a clear speed and acceleration advantaghe because of their weight |

It is true that HRC initially asked for the rookie rule to be scrapped to allow Marquez to replace Stoner. That request was at first refused by DORNA. It was when DORNA tried to slip MM into a Honda satellite team (he is contracted to Honda so was never going to ride any other brand) that the satellite teams said that they did not want him OR the rule. The rule was originally put in place in an attempt to raise the profile of the smaller teams and help them to attract sponsors etc. What was not considered is that these "rookies" don't come to MotoGP alone, they come with their entire team. This effectively meant that in order to take on a rookie they would have to sack their existing team and then rehire them at the end of the 12 months. That is costly and disruptive to the satellite teams and as such THEY requested that the rule be dropped. Sure HRC ended up getting what they were after but through the satellites' request not their own. As HRC's initial request was rejected IF a satellite team had wanted to take on Marquez then it is likely that the rookie rule would have been enforced. They didn't so it wasn't. No HRC conspiracy. |

I am not syaing a Honda conspiracy, I dont believe Honda are anywhere near as bad as Spain!
It is blatantly obvious that a weight penalty needs to be given to some riders in Moto2. Elias won coz he is a flying flea too! Iannone should have won it as he was a better rider and his team understood aero more, but Marquez and Pol are very small, and though their bikes are not faster, they do accelerate better and get through the turns a little more easily, giveing them a huge advantage when they are already as fast or faster than their rivals. |
