Damon at LeMans?
I heard a little rumor saying Damon Hill will start 2003 in a Spyker.
Any confirmation on this and - if it´s true - why in a Spyker? Wouldn´t a Bentley, Audi or Lister suit him much better? |

Maybe you´re right. At least it sounds much more realistic to me!
Thank you. |

Pirenzo is correct, its Derek Hill, son of Phil the 1961 World Champion, not Damon.
Damon has raced at Le Mans in 1990, forRichard Lloyd Racing in a Porsche 962 his co-drivers where Steven Andskär and David Hobbs. The car ritered after 14 hours with engine problems. |

How does everyone rate Derek Hill?
He didn't really seem to sparkle in F3000, but I suspect his dad could give him a little Le Mans advice, being a three time winner and all... |

He doesn't seem to have shone particularly brightly in conemporary racing cars. However, he was absolutely fantastic in a Daytona Cobra Coupe at Goodwood in 1998....

Just read he signed a contract with the Super Nova Team for this season, so I think his skills are not such poor.

On a Dutch racing forum I readed a rumour that the 3rd driver is British....Damon Hill is British. According to that message the main sponsor is also British.
This rumour is to good to be true. |
